Julie Weiss trained and worked for 2 years as a full-time gardener at Great Dixter in England with Head Gardener, Fergus Garrett. This was an intensive study of horticulture, planting design, biodiversity and ecological gardening. She also trained in the Great Dixter Nursery.
She is currently on the Board of Directors of North American Friends of Great Dixter.
