Julie Weiss designed the book, Tokachi Millennium Forest: Pioneering a New Way of Garden wtih Nature for landscape designer Dan Pearson, about his work at the Tokachi Millennium Forest in Japan. This book project brought her to Hokkaido, Japan in 2018 where she gardened for 1 week with Head Gardener Midori Shintani (and contributing writer) and her team. A second trip to Japan followed one year later with Dan Pearson and Huw Morgan, to further work on the book all together in this incredible place. The book was published by Filbert Press in 2020.
